I completed a photography project in the Fall covering DC’s historic 14th Street neighborhood. I developed an interest in this area after learning more about its history as a predominantly African American neighborhood, and the ways it has been significantly gentrified in recent years. I spent an afternoon capturing some scenes of the people and places that make 14th Street so unique.
